Ed Marciniak, Founder, Principal Consultant
Ed Marciniak has more than two decades of experience in information systems strategy, planning, implementation and project management. Ed started his career at Accenture, performing management and information systems consulting for dozens of clients in a range of industries, specializing in systems strategy, software selection, ERP implementations and project management. After Accenture he joined a regional management and technology consulting firm where he led sales, marketing, and implementation of Microsoft and Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), demand planning, and business intelligence software for small and mid-market clients.
After a three year contract role as Director of Applications for a large post acute healthcare organization, Ed then joined a regional CPA firm as CEO of their technology and software business unit. As CEO, Ed was responsible for the company’s strategic direction, operations, and growth of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and ERP business lines. He improved brand and value awareness and relaunched legacy software products into the cloud marketplace. He increased software sales and pipeline growth through direct selling and strategic partner referrals, shifting the revenue base from consulting services to a recurring subscription and software support services model.
On the recommendation of a Board member, Ed was engaged to build a palliative illness management system for the palliative unit of Walgreens / Carecentrix, and then managing cloud infrastructure, virtualization, applications and security under a multi-year managed services agreement, obtaining HITRUST application and environment certification during the process.
Ed then served as Vice President and Technology Accountable for LPL Financial, building out the capability and team to support the technology needs of the Liquidity and Succession acquisition program. In that role he developed the methodology and performed due diligence and conversions of infrastructure, FinTech, CRM, networking, AV and computing for over 75 and OSJ/advisor network organizations and financial advisor firms.
Ed is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and passionate advocate for the use of systems and technology to help businesses grow and prosper. When not serving clients, Ed enjoys spending time with family and friends outdoors hiking, camping, wilderness backpacking, masters swimming, and road cycling amongst the hills of North and South Carolina.
